How Does Our Process Work?
Frequently Asked Questions
How many years is ILR with Skilled Worker?
In many scenarios, it may be possible to apply for ILR after 5 years. However, route conditions, salary/employment status and “continuous residence” rules are assessed separately.
How long can I stay outside the UK, will my “continuous residence” be cancelled?
Rules may vary depending on the route and date. For example, in some cases, for absences starting after 11 April 2024, the rule of not exceeding a total of 180 days in rolling 12 months is applied. It should be checked specifically for your file.
How much does ILR cost?
Fees are updated regularly. The 1 July 2025 table shows the ILR application at £3,029 per person (including dependant).
I have a BRP card, is it still valid?
The BRP system has been switched to the eVisa system. Proof of status is carried out through the UKVI account and eVisa. It is important to prepare for travelling and checking status.
Will the 2026 changes affect me?
For planned changes to the Settlement/ILR rules, there are consultation and staggered implementation processes. It is recommended to plan your dossier with separate scenarios “under existing rules” and “under possible new rules”.
